Capture One is brilliant software and to do it justice you need to learn it properly from an expert. Highly recommend this course if you want to produce professional results.

I just purchased the Fuji version of Capture One a few days ago, so I’m entitled to a free upgrade to version I’m new to Capture One. Does Phase One have a record of reasonably bug-free major releases, i. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence. We are launching a new plugin next week for proofing and getting the ratings back in capture one and also auto-tagging via AI. So skip 12 and wait for 13 that’s how I do it and then upgrade price per year is more affordable and you get a lot more features when you finally do upgrade.
Must say though Sony users were getting incredibly good deal at that price. When you consider we spend thousands on camera and lenses it seems a good price for pro software. I noticed that as well, and it is a sloppy copy-paste mistake because you can’t use those simulations with anything else than a couple of current Fuji cameras flagship and mid-tier.

I find the new options in version 12 very limited to justify the upgrade price eur. I don’t care about a new menu layout. So i can skip one version and go next year to version 13 via upgrade?
