When I went to download it took me to Capture One I had to fill out form and notice it was a 30 trial. I’m confused now and can’t find any info for ‘free’ Capture One Express for Fujifilm cameras. Is it no longer available? Yes it is. Sounds like you downloaded something other than express.
The link above is the correct link. This question has cropped up a number of times. I used that exact link. The next page you fill out a profile and check 30 trial. What is downloaded is Capture One Hey, light capture is right, in the end it will be a trial version of 30 days regards nXm. I suspect the blurb about the free 30 day trip on the next page is just poor translation to English or sloppy work on the part of whoever made the page.
There is only software build of Capture One. The license key is what makes the different versions. The free Capture One Express Fujifilm licence enables all the features for 30 days then, after that trial period it reverts to the restricted Express Fujifilm only version. I think you can skip the trial bit when you install it. You’ll get a license key for Express:. LOL, wait until there is an update and it makes you download and sign in with the license key all over again I wouldn’t go through that again unless I absolutely needed to do so. Not the user friendliest program I’ve ever used. But it is free, assuming you find the hidden magic button that makes it so. I know when I downloaded it I was very careful, and didn’t get a 30 day trial, but got the Fuji Express version straight away.
Not sure I’d be able to do it again, or tell anyone what I did though. I do remember it being cryptic at best. It is not region specific, as far as I know. But it is pretty resource intensive, at least on my computer. That delivers good results, and is lighter on my old computer especially with 16mp RAW files.
PhaseOne like most companies are a bit coy about how their licensing works. I had lots of trouble but hope its ok. Now I have to learn it. Even up loading a single photo is not easy because it doesn’t highlight the one file to up load and so it uploaded an entire folder and I can’t delete them.
This is not going to be easy. Mac’s Photo program is pretty good and intuitive to use. Gimp is comprehensive but a complicated software too.
I agree with Irene McC. Try to install the full trial version and then use Sessions and see if it suits you better. I would recommend that you view them rather than trying to learn without any help! So I’d agree with Robert it’s the licence key that identifies your use as the free version and cripples the other parts of the programme.

Aside from supporting files from other cameras, is the feature set between Pro, and “for Fuji” different? Express is free and has limited functions. The brand specific ones have all features but only work with RAW files from those brands. The Pro version is fully functional across all brands. JDClark said:. Loaded and early testing done. What I feel is missing is: 1. A slider to zoom an image when editing. Also similar for changing size of thumbnails. This used to be there I thought. I might be missing some stuff as I was trying to be quick. There is no file browser option so I cant rapidly move between directories. I am forced to import into the catalog! Capture One Pro 以下C1 の歴史に詳しくはないが、恐らく、テザー撮影に開発されたテザー用リモート、及び現像ソフトとして発展したのではなかろうか？。 テザー撮影とはデジタルカメラとパソコンを繋ぎ、ダイレクトにパソコンに取り込み、その場で作業が進められる。主にスタジオ系の商業、広告カメラマンが利用するツール。 最近になってLightroomもそれに対応したし、CanonやNikonには専用のツールが存在しているようだが、恐らく彼らカメラマンが一番信頼を置いているのがこのC1なんだと思う。要するにプロ御用達の専門ツールだった訳だ。 ところがフィルムカメラが一気に廃れ、世界はデジタルカメラ一色になり、C1も一般のカメラマンが使う も使える 現像ソフトに進化して行ったようだ。しかし時すでに遅し。AdobeのLightroomが現像ソフト界をほぼ統治していた。 またLighroomに比べて高価 特に昨年辺りからLightroomはさらに値下げをしている なのと、これはあくまでも想像だが、C1はプロカメラマンが利用していたツールだから、アップル、マック用のソフトのイメージが強く、結果、世の大半を占めるWindowsユーザーに対してのアピールが少ないのだろう。 さて、これを踏まえC1とLightroomを テザー撮影はしないのでそれ以外の機能を 比較したい。 出てくる絵のクオリティはほとんど変わらない。単にユーザーの好みでしかないだろう。そしてそれはこの2種だけでなく、カメラメーカーが添付している現像ソフト、市販汎用現像ソフト、及び、無料で利用出来るRawTherapeeも含め、五十歩百歩。 Lightroomの優位点は3つ。 1つはデータベース機能。フィルタを用いての検索が容易で、10万枚の中から該当する任意の写真を簡単に探し出せる。例えば・・・、、、 「年1月から6月までのPentax K-5もしくはK-7にFA28mmかFA50mmを装着し、絞りがF2.
