Clearly Microsoft has a problem with their information on the download site, or with the software that checks the product key. Given that all of these posts are less than a day old, maybe this has something to do with some recent updates.

Same here. I called MS to inform them and get a proper key and gave up after 45 minutes on hold and a tech that could not speak proper English. I hate to sound a certain way, but you know what: why are companies hiring people I can’t understand? I give up and hang up? Is that saving money somehow?
